It’s New Year’s Eve and we’ve got 30 minutes of Deuce to help you strangle the last few gasps of life out of 2017! If you start this podcast about 28 minutes and 30 seconds before midnight we kind of half ass count you down and everything. We start out talking about a couple things we recently watched on Netflix: Bright and Godless. Then we spend the rest of the show talking Star Wars: The Last Jedi, like we did back when we first started the podcast and spent an episode talking Force Awakens. Hey guys, Nelson here. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to record a new episode for today. There were circumstances and they were unforeseen. But, don’t worry, because we do have something for you: a collection of the random nonsense we’ve talked about this past year while testing our mics. It’s like a clip show where we’re trapped in an elevator so we reminisce on all those good times we’ve shared checking to see if our equipment works. Is it as good as a regular episode? Hard to say. Is it longer? It is indeed! Is it better than nothing? You be the judge! Will and Nelson are deep diving on Game of Thrones right before the season finale. We had the same settings problems we had last week, so the sound is going to be a little quiet again. Sorry! Doorways are opening to realms of fire in our city streets but the government is ignoring the science! We also get deep into Peeing on Other People’s Cars Corner, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Peeing on Cars! From there we have a special Mountain Marketing Corner which leads to Pioneer Corner, The History of Denver Corner, and a quick reminder to vote in the primary election for Lawrence City Commission this Tuesday (early voting on Monday)! And this time a lot of our history comes more from dad wisdom than our half-assed bullshit so please feel free to use this episode in schools, teachers looking for a way to relate to the kids so why not a podcast nobody listens to?
